Vice President, Business Development, Amgen
Rachna Khosla is a Vice President in Business Development at Amgen. She is responsible for corporate development, licensing, strategic collaborations, M&A and international business development. Rachna joined Amgen in 2013.
Rachna has more than 25 years of biopharmaceutical strategic transactions. Previously, Rachna held leadership positions in healthcare M&A investment banking and biotech corporate venture capital at Lazard Freres & Co., Credit Suisse, JPMorgan, Aventis Capital and Salomon Brothers.
Rachna received her MBA from Columbia Business School and her BA from Barnard College, Columbia University. She attended the London School of Economics for one year while at Barnard.
Rachna serves as a member of the Healthcare Sector Advisory Board for the Partnership Fund for New York City, whose mission is “to create jobs, spur new business creation and to expand opportunities for all of the city’s residents and neighborhoods. The fund invests exclusively in NYC based ventures —both for-profit and non-profit.”
In her spare time Rachna enjoys yoga, writing, reading, cooking and photography. She recently completed the Yogaworks 200-hour teacher training course and is a certified yoga instructor. Rachna and her boyfriend, John a native Californian, enjoy mountain biking and the ocean.
